Event Details

Volunteers are invited to participate as individuals or with a group on the fourth Saturday in August each year to clean up the Meramec River and its tributaries.

Workers boat, float in canoes or work in shore parties on an assigned river section near your selected check-in site on the Meramec, Huzzah, Courtois, Beourboise, or Big Rivers. To float, you must provide your own canoe. People of all ages are welcome, but children must have adult supervision.

Volunteers are provided trash bags, gloves and a free bumper sticker. Following the clean up participants can join other workers at one of ten picnic sites in the watershed to socialize and enjoy free refreshments for their efforts. OCS hats and shirts are available.

Please register on line for this free event so that we know how many to expect, and so that we can inform you of any last minute changes.

 See you on the river!
